IMPORTANT: Use an image with a transparent or white background. Full-color backgrounds saturate the paper and won't burn well.

2. Upload "The Reveal" (Bottom)

Second Upload Slot: This is the image hidden underneath. We print this on a premium Icing Sheet for high-resolution, vibrant color.

3. We Calibrate & Print

We print the top layer in "Draft Mode" to minimize ink density for a perfect burn, and the bottom layer in "High Quality" for a stunning reveal.

Common Questions About Custom Prints

Why is the top image lighter/faded?

This is intentional! We print the top Wafer Paper layer on "Draft Quality" using minimal ink. If we used heavy ink (like a photo), the paper would become too wet and heavy to burn properly. The top layer is designed to disappear!

What images work best for the "Burn" layer?

Less is more. Text, logos, or line art with a transparent background work best. Avoid full-page photos or solid colored backgrounds for the top layer, as they can cause the flame to stall.

Do I need to trim the sheets?

It depends on your choice!
• Pre-Cut Circles: If you check the "Precut" box, we machine-cut them perfectly for you. (Recommended!)
• Rectangle Sheets: If you choose the "Rectangle" option, you will receive full sheets that you can easily trim with clean, dry scissors to fit your specific cake shape.

Is it safe to eat the ash?

Yes. The "ash" is simply burnt potato starch and sunflower oil. It is 100% edible and food-safe, though most people just gently blow it away or remove the burnt edges before slicing.
