A: There are the correct cleaning cartridges for your machine. The 270-271 edible ink cartridges are also correct.

Q: My Canon TS5020 edible image printer has been out of use for 3 years, as I had closed my business. I neglected to clean and remove the ink cartridges. I am ready to re-open my business. Would I still be able to use a cleaner and replace ink cartridges? Is there something else I need to do since it has been 3 years? Please advise.

A: 3 years is long period. Make sure you have full set of cleaning and edible cartridges. Start with cleaning set , deep cleaning from maintenance tab. Wait for hour and repeat cleaning ...now wait 4 hours before inserting edible set.
Purge cleaning solution with edible inks.
Print nozzle check on regular paper to see where you at in regard to print head damage.
Eventually you can try manual cleaning if auto clean could not help.
