Love the ink! I received my package pretty quickly and I love the quality of the ink and the crispness. Only thing I wasn't too happy about; not in relation to the product; that I paid twice for the thermal packaging, but it was in 1 thermal package. I think the charge for the thermal packaging should be per order unless it's necessary to be in two separate packages.

Q: I see that this item is out of stock; is there a way to get a little extra life out of these?

A: You can try to refill them and reset electronic chip, however considering this printers are almost 10 years old we don't recommend to use them anymore for food printing to avoid contamination and bacteria build up.
Please start considering getting new model. Food printers should be used max up to 6 years to stay on safe side.

Q: Are these cartridges spongeless?

A: After extensive research we could not find any extra benefits using sponge free cartridges . Actual yield per page is less than genuine Canon design and cost per printable page is higher . Hype about sponge free cartridges is marketed by few Chinese owned companies who use scare tactics showing some irrelevant images . We will not participate in this fraud and we deeply recommend using standard cartridge design . Our cartridges are brand new made in sterile environment , never refilled ( refilling is number one cause of bacteria contamination and print head clogging ) .
