Amazing edible images

I am never disappointed with the items I order from Ink4cakes. I have been using them for a few years now. Not only are they professional, but when there is an issue with something I have sent to them, they have called me with different options to make sure my image will be crystal clear. The rice paper they use is perfect and never interferes with the quality of the cake. I can’t say enough except that I will always use them for my creations.

EASY way to decorate

The fun edible images we used on cookies for a graduation party were a HUGE hit! Easy to apply onto buttercream icing... I put together the cookies and sealed them in an airtight container 8 hours before serving. The icing sheets were soft and easy to eat when I set them out. After being out on the platter a few hours, the images starting getting dry and harder to eat again.

Loved my Edible Print!!

I was searching online for a website where I can order an edible print for a cake I was making for my neighbors niece birthday. I've been doing some research on edible frosting print's and really wanted to try using one. I came across this website looked at some reviews and pictures. I was amazed at some pictures I saw the cakes were beautiful. So I decided to order one delivery didn't take long it came in a timely manner and intact. When I opened the package I was so amazed at how beautiful and vibrant the edible sheet was. My neighbors niece loved the cake everyone did!! This is the second time I have ordered this product and they've both come out fantastic. I don't usually offer edible prints, but sometimes designs are just too intricate and this had been a great resource. The colors are saturated and look great. I had to re-buy the whole order because they would not color correct. 30th Birthday Cake

You all are AWESOME! I changed the concept of this cake at the last minute (5 days before the event) I requested the icing print from another company, they denied my request stating the picture wasn't sharp enough for them to print. Great Quality and price.

Product arrived as ordered. Upon opening it smelled delicious and the printed design as expected. Planning on using it to top a cupcake cake. Definitely felt they did the best to make sure it's packaged properly. Despite the warning on the shipping package to not bend, USPS is the worse when it comes to that and curled the hard backing to fit into our small mail box but there was no damage to the product itself. Would order again.

I used the edible print to top a 1/4 sheet cake for my husband's birthday. I'd done a bit of research on using them on top of whipped cream icing, and most people recommended adding it at the last minute since it would tend to blur or bleed over time on the high-moisture-content base. So I did that, and it came out great. The leftovers still retained all their crisp detail even days later in the refrigerator. So happy with this purchase; I'll definitely do this again.

Perfect for my project!

I was asked to make an Air Force retirement cake, and the picture she showed me involved two images that I knew would be best printed rather than piped or cut from fondant. I worked up a PDF with the text and image I needed and to my surprise - the icing sheet was printed and shipped the same day! This was the first time I had ordered or used a photo cake topping. The ordering was easy and the image was good. My only issue was that I had read the information on the web site and directions about how to use the topping and apply it to cake. I had a couple of questions that weren't covered in that information and emailed the company with them and received a stock reply directing me to the information I had already read on the site. So what happened is the backing the image was printed on didn't dissolve into the frosting on the cake. The directions just said apply to fresh frosting I believe. They need to be more specific, like apply shortly or right after frosting the cake. I had waited a couple of hours before I applied it. In most scenarios fresh would certainly still be within a couple of hours if not the same day. I have frosted cakes before, then let them sit overnight before decorating with food coloring, "painting" etc. So to me, a couple of hours after frosting was fresh.

Decent Product

Overall it was a decent product. There were some marks from printer rollers on my custom ordered icing sheets. The icing sheet also didn't "melt in" to the cake as we had expected and had a very noticeable edge on top of the costco sheet cake. Finally, we paid for the thermal packaging to ensure the 2x icing sheets arrive un-damaged. Unfortunately, each sheet has to be ordered separately, so the thermal packaging (extra few dollars) had to be selected twice. The items were well packaged, but send in the same thermal sleeve, so we effectively paid twice what we needed to since we only got 1x thermal packaging instead of the 2 we paid for. Overall, it was a decent experience and filling short notice need. I will definitely shop around for my next printed icing sheet needs though.

Print turned out good

I like the service. They messaged and called me about the image that I sent and I sent another picture back and the print was good. I got what I ordered in just a few days. The only thing is that the number of prints I needed was switched. But still, the cake that I made was ok.

Q: How do it stop images attached to cookies and wrapped in bags from sweating? I attached to royal icing cookies with more royal icing. I waited overnight and then put in cellophane bags. However within 24 hours the images stated to sweat and then melt onto theBags. I live in NE and have a dehumidifier. Is it better to attach the images in another way? Or wrap them differently?

A: I apply mine to the cookies using a mixture of corn syrup and water. (I would say maybe 1/4 - 1/2 tsp to 1 Tbsp....use your judgment. You want it thin, similar to liquid Elmer's glue.) The water thins the corn syrup so it doesn't go on thick, but still becomes the glue when the water evaporates. Apply a thin amount of water/syrup solution to the back of the printed icing paper and apply to the cookie. Then turn the cookie on its face on a cooling rack until it's dry. You shouldn't have any issues with it sweating as long as you don't refrigerate before bagging.

A: I hate to differ, but I believe putting it on wet royal icing causes it to curl and not lay flat. Please see my comment earlier to another post on applying to dry royal icing with corn syrup/water mix.

Q: Hello! I’ve never ordered anything from you guys before. I was wondering how easy it is to cut out images on the sheet. What I need are cut-outs of a few different characters for the side of a cake, so I figured I could order a couple sheets with a few characters on each sheet, and then cut them out. Q: Hi, I need to have an image that appears as two on one sheet. I work in a museum, so one image will be a photo of a coworker that I will apply a chocolate frame to. The other will be text that will serve as a "museum label" next to that frame. I need them both to be specific sizes.
