Amazing!

Perfect!

I decided last minute to try ink4cakes, I was making a 40th birthday cake for our son-in-law. He caught a fish the weekend before his upcoming party, so with only a 3-4 days I took a chance and ordered. It arrived the day before the party and was brilliant! Perfection!

I had ordered from another company who messed up my order by altering my image and ignoring my instructions to leave the white space alone. I was afraid I wasn't going to have this product in time, but Ink4Cakes not only got my order to me before I needed it. They also followed my instructions perfectly, and even sent me a proof image for my approval before printing the product. The other company refused to send me a proof image even after requesting it. So 5 stars all around for Ink4Cakes, and will definitely use again for future orders.

The image was extremely high quality, did not change flavor of cake. My only issue was that the image did not ‘melt’ into the cake like some of the ones I have used before, it kind of looked like a photograph sitting on the surface. Maybe I did something wrong? I did not change anything about the way I applied it. It did not come with directions specifying application technique.

Had to place a last minute order- and was thrilled with the results. Using sharp kitchen shears I cut the image around the design. The edible paper is actually tasty- the kids loved ripping little pieces off to eat it.. said it tasted like marshmallows. The image quality and quick shipping exceeded my expectations. No pun!!

Brilliant Colors

I'd never ordered an edible cake print online before, but my experience here was great! My daughter designed and drew what she wanted electronically. 13th Birthday Fast & Furious image

I sent a "doctored" image for a Fast and Furious Birthday cake for my 13 year old cousin's birthday. She absolutely loves all the movies! The image I received was excellent! Usually Pretty Pleased

This is my 3rd or 4th order and all but this last one, I've been quite pleased with. This recent one was disappointing in that part of my design was cut off at the margin. I had been worried about that happening and made a note in my order to be notified if the design wouldn't work with my margins. Luckily, I was able to cut around parts of the design and get it to work.

My wife and I were a little cautious because we had never ordered a printed cake topper before and didn't know how well it would come out. The result was actually fantastic! Very sturdy edible cake print!

This edible cake print was so sturdy! Not flimzy, didnt tear... i put it in the freezer for a couple minutes and peeled it off of the plastic and laid it right on my cake. It was a bit chewy, of course its sturdy but it was tasty to me! The colors were great. The reds and blues looked good, not too dull. I give the edible sheet cake 5 stars. Your cake will steel the show.

Beautiful, better than expected!

My friend was throwing a Real Housewives themed birthday party for herself and as the friend who loves to bake, I wanted to surprise her with a fun cake. I used FaceInAHole.com to find a group photo of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I replaced one of their faces with my friend's face. It looked perfect! I did some light research on edible prints for cakes and Ink4Cakes seemed to have the best reviews. With a busy week of work I realized I wasn't going to have time to bake the cake myself, so I ordered the edible print and had it shipped to a local bakery for them to use for me. It was delivered perfectly on time and it perfect condition. I did pay extra for the temperature control packaging. The baker said it was easy to use, and the cake looked better than I could have imagined. The quality was excellent. I was worried it might look a little grainy, or that the colors would start to run but it looked crisp and bright, absolutely beautiful. It was the biggest hit of the party! I will definitely order from here again.

I ordered a custom cake image, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. It was such a good deal, I was honestly nervous. But, it was so amazing, and detailed. I highly recommend ink4cakes! I’ll definitely order from them again!

At first I was concerned about the thickness of these sheets. I thought they might not taste good. Boy, was I wrong. I adhered these to cookies with royal icing and they tasted delicious. Aside from the fact that the image came out perfectly. This was is an excellent product!

Very Beautiful

The photo print on flat icing was very beautiful. It was an exact image of the photograph submitted. It was edible and lovely although it did not fit the size of the cake. The only regret that I have with it is that it is not a truly "icing" type of icing. It was not easy to cut as the rest of the cake and, as it became more room temperature it began to sink into where the cake had been cut and then proceeded to tear. Beautiful, worth the money, exact copy of photo, but a bit different than expected. Still a wonder and unique addition to a cake.

Q: Hello, I have never done anything like this before so please bear with me. The photo I am submitting is rectangular, but I'd like the entire background on the 8" circle to be the same color. Can you all do that? I don't really care what color the background is as long as it looks good on a chocolate (brown) frosted cake. Can you put the text at the bottom of the image? I don't want it to cover the upper part/face and chest of the picture if possible. Thanks for your help!

Q: Do these work well placed on top of buttercream icing or do you need to put something under the print?

A: Yes they work well with most buttercream icing formulas. You may have trouble with the icing sheet sticking if the buttercream is oily however. If this is the case, simply apply a small layer of corn syrup underneath the print and that will solve the issue.

A: Your image is probably PNG with transparent background. Most browsers display transparent as a black therefore your logo will be printed normally without background

Q: I'm looking to order a print for a marriage proposal cake, and will need the sheet sent to a baker by a specific date before Memorial Day. Can I specify a delivery date? printable size is 8x10 max.
Sheets are easy to cut.

Q: Hello. My work is planning a resident event that will be Harry Potter themed. We have this idea to make a cake tower of all the books with the book covers printed with edible icing sheets. A: For ready to use circles we require only 1 image , our software will make auto layout . Choose your pre-cut size and upload file .
However If you want to cut images yourself than upload file with repeat ( we will consider it as one image in this case and print it out on standard sheet )

Q: We are interested in using this image on a cake that will be iced with a lemon frosting. Because real lemon is used in the frosting, there will be a bit of an acidity to it.
