Q: Can I use an Epson printer I already own? A: No. You must strictly use a brand-new printer that has never used standard ink. Standard printer ink is toxic, and once it has run through the printhead, it cannot be fully cleaned out. Our bundles are brand new and safe for food contact from day one.

Q: Will the edible ink clog the printer? A: Any edible printer can clog if left sitting too long, but Epson’s Micro Piezo printhead technology is famous for its durability. To keep it running smoothly, we recommend printing at least one test page a week to keep the ink flowing. Luckily if it does clog, maintenance is easy with Epson's power cleaning option available right on the printer's screen.

Q: Does this printer work with a Mac? A: Yes. Since these are genuine Epson machines modified for edible use, they use standard Epson drivers that are fully compatible with Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (via the Epson iPrint app).

Q: Can I print on any icing sheets? A: We cannot test every icing sheet on the market however it will work with MOST. If you want a guarantee our Frostino icing sheets are specially made for Epson edible printers for a vibrant and seamless print. The rear-feed tray on our Epson models is perfect for feeding specialized media like Chocolate Transfer Sheets and Wafer Paper without bending or jamming them.
