Good customer service

I've been making cakes for years and decided I wanted an edible printer I knew the brand and knew they make high quality printers so I decided do get one, my printer came with a large crack in it that make it unusable, I contacted them and after just a few minutes of talking they were shipping me another one, all they asked for was pictures of the damage, sometimes companies are really hard to get returns but they were very nice and easy to work with which I was very thankful for. my new one came a few days later in perfect condition and I absolutely loved how the picture I printed came out, I haven't used it much yet but I am very excited to use it on more of my cakes!

I like it so far but could use some instructions and I have no drive for the disc that it come from back up, but luckily I had it program before from you well they had instructions, but that is out of date, but anyway, I figured it out and I’ll like it so far I switched from a canon to an Epson. We’ll see if that’ll work for me as well. the color looks wonderful

Perfect Picture!

This is my first time having an edible printer so I was extremely excited purchasing this item. The pictures come out vibrant and the instructions were easy to follow. I love that I can use my phone to send over and print pictures through wifi. I recommend this edible printer to cake decorators!

A: Printer can print 1200 dpi , however human eye can't see difference after 300 dpi printed up to size. Speed depend on print quality chosen with less dpi twice as fast than high quality

A: Any graphic program can be used to print.
Creating specific ICC would direct you to print in RGB or CMYK mode. Printer is CMYK , however Adobe software will print by default in RGB

A: Additional software is not necessary , however if you plan to print at our pre-cut icing sheets we recommend OL software.
0.3mm wafer paper is included. It can be used for cake toppers , 3d cupcake props , jello cakes etc...

A: 1. Every edible printer should be discarded after 6 to 8 years of use to avoid risk of contamination
2. Yes, should be used daily
3. Single print per day , not a problem ...
4. With regular use there is no need to clean however ink purging is recommended.

Q: What is the recommended maintenance on these printers so that the print heads are well maintained. The printer I had I would use cleaning cartridges to maintain them. The print head is giving out so I am looking for a new printer.

A: Best maintenance is regular use , printing few sheets per week at least.
After 6 months or year you can purge ink and use cleaning solution if needed.

A: This model doesn't use replaceable cartridges. It has continuous ink system filled from ink bottles.
Clogging issues are common with Epson printers mostly from use of low quality inks , mixing 2 different types or inks or lack of maintenance and use. Using printer on daily basis will prevent such issues even eliminate maintenance .

Q: I often find that printing orders come in cycles with several weeks of downtime between large printing orders. We are replacing a standard cartridge Epson that often had printing issues on these cycles because of cartridge problems and want to know if anyone has expertise with this printer and if print quality suffers as the “ink drys” on print heads when not being used?
