Wonderful edible ink printer

Cake decorated

I received my printer last night. My daughter put the ink cartridges in and set it up. I didn't want to bother trying to connect it to my tablet because I thought we would run into a bunch of problems. I was wrong. We downloaded the app to my Fire HD 10 and it works perfectly. I would recommend this printer.

Gets the job done

Initially setting up the printer, the instructions for setting up the Wi-Fi was an accurate so we had to search on the internet how to connect the printer to our internet connection. The color and picture quality is great on the icing paper in a super easy to peel off the back sheet after it's printed. The wafer paper of course has less of a vibrant color, but that's because it's wafer paper. However, the edges of the wafer paper due rip easily if you do not carefully take it out of his package and if you do not place it perfectly inside the printer. When I use the printer the first couple of times I had no issue, but just recently the icing paper nor the wafer paper was feeding through although the printer was clicking and making the sound as if the paper was feeding through. I had to manually push the paper into the feeder for it to work. Other than that, it's quick, great color quality and gets the job done.

Q: I’m interested in the beginner package edible printer, how long do the cartridges last? Also am I able to purchase cartridges elsewhere or are they only through you? Same as the icing sheets? Thank you

A: The cartridges will last approx. 200 sheets of prints or so. We highly recommend using our ink for this printer because mixing formulas can lead to unexpected clogs or damages. We cannot guarantee other brands of icing sheets will work since they are untested.

Q: How often do I need to use this in order to maintain and not allow it to become usable? I'm a bit worried about it getting clogged if I don't use it enough. Is there a way to use it periodically and yet keep it clean enough to print without issues.

A: Printing twice a week is ideal, but once a week would be fine. You can print a "nozzle check pattern" directly from the maintenance menu on a regular piece of paper and that will be enough to prevent the ink from drying.

Q: HI! Just curious about this printer. I only use 1.25" or 2" round (precut) frosting or wafer paper sheets for my Oreos. Can I have this included in the package instead of the full size that is included with the package? Also are the inks that are included full or partially full? And do you have wholesale pricing!!! A: Our inks come completely full! Unfortunately items inside the printer bundle cannot be swapped out.

We do have a wholesale portal but printers are not included, only edible inks and papers.

A: Hello,

No I'm sorry you cannot use Epson edible ink in any non-Epson printers as it will clog severely. This machine requires Canon edible inks.

Q: I only print a couple of times a month. What is the nest way to maintain the ink? Not even half used cartidges currently but can't get solid colors anymore. Tried running the maintenance on the head, bit north working. Is replacing my ink the only way to get proper prints again? How do I prevent such a waste of ink in the future? Thanks!

A: Replacing ink will not help , you need to perform print head deep cleaning to recover dried print head.
Ink cartridges are ink tanks only, they don't print. Best maintenance is regular use or printing test page on regular paper at least once per week

Q: How often should u clean the printer? After a certain amount of pictures? How often should you use the printer? I don't print picture very often will that cause the ink to clog and not print? That was a problem with my last printer I couldn't unclog the ink so I ended up throwing it out.

Q: I am thinking of purchasing this item I had purchased a different one that did not last long it was a MG 5520 Canon printer I had lots of problems with the paper Feeding in so it didn’t get used a lot now it doesn’t want to work at all so I’m replacing it hopefully with the one your advertising but my question is I should be able to use the same USB cable for the newer machine correct also I just purchased new ink will it work in this new machine as well as the Software I already have thanks for your help

A: You can use old usb cable or simply connect to printer wireless however cartridges for old printer will not work with new model.
Software will work just fine with replacement.

Q: I’m interested in the beginner package edible printer, how long do the cartridges last? Also am I able to purchase cartridges elsewhere or are they only through you? Same as the icing sheets? Thank you
