Q: What is the OL Software 2.0 cd and why is there an asterisk next to it?

A: OL Software is print layout program for help with printing on pre-cut icing sheets. Asterisk warn that program is compatible with Windows only.
Same is not necessary for edible printer use , it just enhance capabilities of Canon Edible Printer CW8

Q: I see that this printer only has one tray; is it safe to say that the icing sheets won't get jammed? I'm accustomed to feeding my icing sheets through the rear tray.

Q: Does it have a printerhead cleaner kit

A: we wouldn't recommend use of cleaner kit unless is absolutely necessary since our edible inks do not clog, however you can add set of cleaning cartridges for it as more efficient , easier and healthier solution.

A: depend on image size and coverage .. you could print 80-120 pages with one set

Q: Is this printer compatible with a MacBook Pro? Part Number: MP-CC-K2, the Canon Edible Printer Cupcake and Cookie Kit 2 - it was stated that the Print a Cake layout software will not work with Mac platform and am curious if this has changed with this model.

A: Printer is fully compatible with MacBook Pro as every other printer.
Only additional software ( not needed for print operations ) is not ( Windows based program ) . As far as we know there is no proprietary cake software for MacBook.
